Two women have been charged after a man was allegedly set alight outside a pub in southeast Queensland.
Police allege a man was attacked in the car park of the Stock Hotel in Toowoomba on Wednesday evening before being doused in petrol and set alight.
The 26-year-old man was seen stumbling into the pub for help before emergency services were called.
The man was taken to Toowoomba Hospital before being airlifted to the specialist burns unit at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
He suffered burns to his face, neck and arms and remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police have since arrested two women, aged 31 and 35.
They’ve been charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and will front Toowoomba Magistrates Court today.
Police are still searching for a man who was with the two women at the time of the incident.
