A Bundall man is now $100,000 richer after becoming the Gold Coast’s latest lotto winner.
The lucky local has won the guaranteed 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot, which was drawn yesterday.
The Gold Coaster was busy at work when he received the call from The Lott to let him know he’d won.
He admits he wasn’t even going to answer the call.
“I’m so glad I did!” he told an official from The Lott.
“That’s outstanding! This is the biggest prize I have ever won!
“I can’t wait to celebrate with my family. I don’t know if they will believe me though!”
The Bundall man’s entry also scored a consolation prize of $1,000, bolstering his total cash haul to $101,000.
His winning entry of two random numbers was purchased at Benowa Gardens Newsagency, Ashmore Road, Benowa.
It’s the eighth overall major prize-winning ticket bought at the Benowa Newsagency.
