A major manhunt is underway after a number of chemists and medical businesses across the Gold Coast were targeted by brazen thieves.
Police are searching for up to four people believed to have been involved in the string of break-ins and robberies between July 14 and August 20.
In CCTV vision supplied to Hot Tomato, a number of people can be seen smashing their way into stores in Ormeau, Yeronga and Pimpama over the last six weeks.
Two chemists were targeted several times, with the thieves managing to get away with a substantial number of resaleable items including fragrances, glasses and medication.
The offenders were armed with crowbars and were wearing hoodies, masks and gloves.

Police confirmed the same white Toyota Hiace van was used as the getaway vehicle in all of the crimes, but small changes were made between thefts, including removing distinctive black roof racks and differing number plates.
“The van is possibly a 2006 model and at times has been sighted with New South Wales number plates attached,” Queensland Police said.
Officers are also investigating if it is linked to several fuel drive-offs across the city.
Anyone with information about the break-ins, or who might be able to assist with identifying the van or people, are being urged to contact police.
