It’s been off the air since 2009, but Channel Ten is betting a reboot of their classic show Thank God You’re Here is just what we need in these stupid times!
In case you were too young the first time it was around, TGYH throws celebs through a blue door with no idea of the scenario they’re walking into, except that the first line uttered to them is “Thank God you’re here!”
Although the famous blue door remains, it’s previous host Shane Bourne won’t be fronting this refreshed version, with comedian Celia Pacquolaia taking the reigns.
“I’m so excited Thank God You’re Here is coming back, and I’m thrilled to host because that means I’ll be in the best position to watch it,” Celia said in a statement about the relaunch. “I can’t wait to send comedians through the big blue door and not have to go through it myself.”
