Firefighters are battling a large blaze at a property in Mount Tamborine this morning.
The fire erupted inside a stand-alone garage along Main Western Road just after 5am on Thursday, with half a dozen fire crews called in to help douse the flames.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesperson told myGC a number of crews are on scene due to the limited amount of water on the Mountain.
Two cars are believed to have been inside the garage when the blaze took hold.
The blaze is now out, however, crews are still working to make the scene safe as there are a number of gas bottles nearby.
Paramedics remain on standby for firies, but fortunately no one was injured.
