A man has been charged with a string of offences following an alleged drunken crash on the northern Gold Coast

Police were called to a two-car collision on Pascoe Rd in Ormeau just after 11.20pm on Wednesday night.

The driver of a Holden Rodeo is accused of throwing items at the other vehicle involved in the crash.

The man allegedly appeared to be affected by a substance when officers arrived but refused a breath test.

The Jacobs Well man was taken back to a Police station where he allegedly blew 0.107.

The 22-year-old has been charged with drink driving, fail to comply with duties of a driver involved in a crash and give the drivers required particulars to any other driver, public nuisance, wilful damage, contravene direction, fail to supply a specimen for test and obstruct police.

He’ll front Beenleigh Magistrates Court on May 29.
