Two men hospitalised after trying to put out car fire on Gold Coast

Two men have been hospitalised following a massive car fire in Biggera Waters.

The vehicle erupted into flames inside a shed on Brisbane Road around 1.45pm this afternoon.

A QAS spokesperson says the duo were attempting to extinguish the fire when they suffered injuries.

One suffered burns to his head and the other smoke inhalation.

They’ve both been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.
