A young motorbike rider is fighting for his life after smashing into a horse float on the Scenic Rim.
The 20-year-old Oxenford man struck the back of the trailer being driven by a Ute in Boyland just before 5pm last night.
He had been travelling south east on Mundoolun Connection Road, and the driver of the Ute stopped to turn right into Biddaddaba Road when the collision happened.

The man suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the car and her two horses, were not physically injured in the crash.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
