An armed robber remains on the run after allegedly holding up an Eagleby service station in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police say the man entered the River Hills Road business armed with a knife at around 2am, before threatening a male employee.
The man fled the store on foot with a wad of cash and cigarettes.
Police, including the dog squad conducted extensive patrols around the area, however, the man could not be tracked down.
“Investigators are appealing for public assistance to identify the man, who has a dark complexion, is approximately 170cm tall with a solid build and was wearing a blue jumper over his shoulders and black shorts,” a QPS statement reads.
“Anonymous reports can be made.”
The male worker was not physically injured in the robbery.
