UPDATE | Three teenagers have been charged after allegedly embarking on a terrifying crime spree across the southeast, with their shocking antics streamed on social media.

A ride-share driver was allegedly carjacked at knifepoint from a service station in Hamilton around 2.17am on Tuesday morning with his white Toyota Camry stolen.

A gold Toyota FJ Cruiser was allegedly stolen from an address in Paddington just before midday on Tuesday.

The two vehicles were spotted travelling along the M1 toward the Gold Coast around 3am on Wednesday morning after a member of the public saw them acting suspiciously.

Just after 6.30am, one of the offenders allegedly tried to break-in to a home on Fleetwood Court in Helensvale, with CCTV footage allegedly showing them armed with what appeared to be a firearm.

The offender fled in the FJ Cruiser that had been stolen from Paddington.

Social media footage shows the group allegedly bragging about their antics, with one commenting that they had only ‘got out’ the day before.

The group was tracked to Inala where Police deployed tyre spikes before the FJ Cruiser crashed into a bollard.

The three offenders fled but were arrested a short time later.

An 18-year-old Wacol man, a 15-year-old Wilsonton Heights girl and a 16-year-old Drewvale girl have all been charged with one count each of assault, robbery, unlawful use of motor vehicle and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle.

The man will appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court today while the two girls will appear at the Richlands Childrens Court.

Police are still searching for the white Toyota Camry, with Queensland registration 021-SPG allegedly stolen from the service station in Hamilton.

They’re accused of carjacking a rideshare driver at knifepoint at a service station in Hamilton early yesterday morning, stealing a white Toyota Camry with Qld registration 021SPG.

A Queensland Police spokesperson told myGC around 11.50am that same day, a gold Toyota FJ Cruiser was stolen from a home at Paddington.

“These two vehicles were observed possibly travelling together along the M1 heading toward the Gold Coast around 3am this morning by a member of the public who reported them acting suspiciously,” the spokesperson said.

The group then allegedly tried to break into a home on Fleetwood Court in Helensvale around 6.30am this morning, possibly armed with a firearm, before fleeing in the stolen Toyota FJ Cruiser.

Police said they also received a report of the stolen Toyota Camry at a Beaudesert Nerang Road, Nerang service station.

The occupants allegedly tried to buy gift cards using a stolen credit card, but the service station employee suspected the card was stolen and refused.

They then left the scene in the Camry and remain at large.
