Two teens have been taken into custody after a man was allegedly stabbed with a screwdriver at a home in Palm Beach.
A 17-year-old male and 18-year-old female attended a home in the suburb around 8.40pm last night when the violent incident occurred.
Superintendent Geoff Sheldon told the ABC the pair had gone to the property to “recover money” from the occupant, when a 49-year-old man who was visiting the home got caught up in the commotion.
“A bit of an argument has ensued, and the man who was visiting has come along to try and calm things down when a juvenile has jabbed him twice in the right arm with a screwdriver,” Supt Sheldon said.
Thankfully the man’s injuries weren’t too serious and he was treated at the scene
The teens were arrested, with the 17-year-old male due to front the children’s court charged with wounding.
