Thieves are on the run following an early morning break-in at a chemist on the northern Gold Coast.
Four people allegedly broke into a pharmacy located in the Ormeau Shopping Village around 1.45am on Wednesday.
Queensland Police said the brazen group smashed the front glass doors to gain entry to the shop.
They stole an unknown amount of medication before fleeing the scene in a Kia Sportage, believed to have been stolen.
Investigations are underway.
