Four people have been injured in a fiery crash after allegedly hooning in Ipswich.

The vehicle was spotted hooning in Redbank Plains at around 11pm last night.

A short time later, the vehicle smashed into a parked truck and burst into flames.

The driver and three passengers were initially trapped and had to be rescued from the fiery wreck.

A woman in her 20s suffered head and pelvis injuries, and a man in his 20s sustained a head injury with both rushed to hospital in a serious condition.

While another man in his 20s and a female in her teens sustained more minor injuries and were hospitalised in a stable condition.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle in the area at the time, or who may have relevant dash-cam footage, to contact them.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
