Two men have been charged over an alleged violent stabbing attack in Miami.
It’s alleged a 30-year-old Palm Beach man was assaulted by two men known to him outside a home on Mountain View Avenue on Sunday, March 5.
Police say one was armed with a knife, and the other a steel bar.
The victim suffered a stab wound to his buttock and was struck on the head and torso with the bar, before he managed to escape and run inside the home to safety.
The pair allegedly then attempted to break-in by smashing the glass door, before fleeing.
A 22-year-old Upper Coomera man was arrested later that day and was charged with one count each of wounding, assault occasioning bodily harm and enter dwelling.
He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to reappear at the Southport Magistrates Court on April 27.
Following further investigations, police arrested a 20-year-old Burleigh Waters man overnight.
