A man has been taken to hospital after falling from a balcony in Surfers Paradise.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC the man plunged around five metres from a balcony off Ferny Avenue around 9.15pm on Saturday.
The man, aged in his 40s, suffered chest and ankle injuries.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
The QAS spokesperson said the fall was deemed accidental.
