UPDATE @ 10.00 AM | A woman reported missing from Hope Island on Saturday has now been found.

Queensland Police confirmed the woman was located “safe and well” in a statement on Sunday.

“Police would like to thank members of the public for their ongoing assistance,” police said.

EARLIER @ 5.00 AM | Police are appealing for help to find a woman missing from Hope Island.

The 63-year-old was last seen at a home on Palladian Drive around 5.30pm on Saturday.

She has not contacted family or friends since.

“Police hold concerns for the woman’s welfare due to the behaviour being out of character,” Queensland Police said.

Her exact whereabouts are unknown, however, she is believed to be in the local area on foot.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
