Power cut to around 2000 homes, businesses on Gold Coast

Close to 2000 homes and businesses on the Gold Coast are currently without power after an outage on Monday morning.

Nerang is the most affected suburb, with 1,931 properties currently blacked out.

A dozen homes in the nearby suburb of Gilston have also been impacted.

Energex is currently investigating the cause of the outage.
