Traffic delays following nasty Gold Coast M1 collision

There are some lengthy delays northbound on the M1 ahead of school pick-up time.

Two cars collided northbound on the exit 82 off-ramp near Somerset drive in Mudgeeraba around 1.45pm.

The impact from the crash has caused one of the vehicles to roll onto its side.

Emergency Services are currently on the scene, with paramedics assessing three stable patients for minor injuries.

Traffic is currently heavily delayed back to Reedy Creek.

Surrounding local roads are also being affected.

It’s likely going to cause some traffic dramas for school pick-up with multiple schools in the area.
