Police are on the hunt for a man who deliberately flashed two young girls at a popular Gold Coast shopping centre.

An eight-year-old girl and a four-year-old girl were subjected to the exposures in two separate incidents at the Biggera Waters shopping precinct.

Police have released two images of the man, who they wish to speak with as part of the investigation.

The first incident took place on Wednesday 28 September around 12.20pm, when an eight-year-old girl was sitting with her mother at a restaurant in the Brisbane Road shopping precinct’s food court.

The man exposed himself to the child before leaving the premises.

Two weeks later on Wednesday 12 October around 12.45pm, the man exposed himself to a four-year-old girl while sitting at the table next to her.

Police believe the man strategically positions himself at a table so the children’s parents are unaware of the offending at the time.

Security at the shopping precinct then sighted the man on Tuesday 25 October and began to follow him, before he fled across Oxley Road.

No one was physically injured during the incidents.

Detectives are now appealing to anyone who may recognise the man– or any further victims – to come forward.
