Police are searching for a woman wanted over a shocking attack on a pregnant woman in the heart of Surfers Paradise.
The alleged incident happened on the afternoon of December 30 as the 37-year-old woman was waiting in line with her husband and two children at Timezone on Cavill Avenue.
The family was ushered forward by a staff member when a woman pushed in front and demanded to be served, claiming she was there first.
Police say the woman then made rude remarks and gestures to the family before the 37-year-old and her young son asked her to stop.
The woman then swore at them with security footage of the incident showing her storming off.
She then returned a short time later, punching her victim seven times in the head before a witness intervened.
The victim, who is five months pregnant, suffered serious facial injuries and has since undergone dental surgery.
The attacker left the scene.
Police are now urging anyone who recognises her or who witnessed the assault to contact them.
