Traffic chaos is building on a major Helensvale road this afternoon following a road rage incident and a massive pile-up.
Police were called to Brisbane Road near Buckler Drive just before 3pm following a two-car crash.
Two men were reportedly spotted “physically punching” each other.
Just 30 minutes later in the same spot, six cars collided causing a massive pile-up.
Paramedics are on the scene assessing multiple patients.
Traffic is heavily delayed going westbound on Brisbane Road, with motorists urged to avoid the area.
