McHappy Day has returned to McDonald’s today, with Australians urged to dig deep to help support sick children and their families.

Ronald McDonald House Charities helps seriously ill or injured children and their families stay together and close to the care they need, while undergoing treatment or surgery in hospital.

McHappy Day is the charity’s biggest fundraiser event, with over $61 million raised in the past 30 years.

On Saturday 19 November, $2 from every Big Mac sold will go directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

You can also buy a pair of silly socks for $5, or a Helping Hand for $2, $10 or $50 from Macca’s restaurants nationwide or via McDelivery.

Barbara Ryan, Chief Executive Officer for Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia says McHappy Day helps support thousands of Aussie families when they desperately need it.

“We’re beyond grateful to those who have already shown their support and donated to this year’s McHappy Day,” Ms Ryan says.
