It’s a nightmare run across the Gold Coast this afternoon, with delays building throughout the whole city.
Traffic on the M1 northbound is heavily delayed following a nasty crash near exit 62 Helensvale South.
Multiple emergency crews are on scene, after a motorbike collided with a car around 2.50pm.
Delays are currently back to Nerang, with only one lane open for motorists.
The smash is also massively effecting motorists on Smith Street heading towards the M1.

The southbound M1 run is shocking as well, with delays all the way from Stapylton down to Molendinar.
Further south on the Gold Coast, M1 traffic is heavy in both directions through Tugun, Elanora, Burleigh and Reedy Creek.
Main Beach is also experiencing delays due to the GC500.
