A security breach at Melbourne Airport has forced the evacuation of passengers and caused early morning flight chaos around the country.
A passenger managed to pass from the unscreened area of the Qantas domestic terminal into a screened area.
All other passengers were ordered out of the secure area to be screened again.
Massive queues are now waiting at security to be able to pass through again.
The incident has sparked major delays after Qantas halted operations because of the security breach.
Some flights are running almost 90 minutes behind schedule while other flights have been cancelled.
