Firefighters are currently battling a massive blaze that’s broken out in a unit block in Surfers Paradise.
The fire started on the second floor of a block of units along Palm Avenue around 2.45pm.
A QFES spokesperson confirmed the unit is “well involved” with fire, with three fire crews currently on scene.
Black smoke can be seen billowing out of the building.
Thankfully, occupants have been accounted for.
Queensland Ambulance remains on scene, however, nobody has needed to be assessed for any injuries at this time.
