Man fatally stabbed at Qld home, teen in custody

A man has died after allegedly being stabbed at a home on the Sunshine Coast.

Emergency Services were called to a home in Toyne St, Baringa just after midnight on Wednesday.

A 42-year-old man was found with numerous stab wounds.

Paramedics attempted to treat the man but he died at the scene.

A 16-year-old boy, who Police say is known to the man, was taken into custody and is being assisting detectives with inquiries.

A crime scene remains in place at the home.
