LATEST @ 4.24PM: A man has died following a horror tractor crash in Willow Vale this afternoon.
The 77-year-old man was riding the tractor at a private residence along Bailey’s Mountain Road just before 2pm, when it flipped and rolled.
Despite paramedic’s best efforts, the man sustained critical injuries and sadly could not be saved.
Police have confirmed a report will now be prepared for the coroner.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
EARLIER @ 2.40PM: Grave fears are being held for a person critically injured in a tractor rollover in Willow Vale.
Emergency crews rushed to the private residence along Bailey’s Mountain Road just before 2pm.
It’s understood the tractor flipped and rolled at the hinterland property, with the person sustaining life-threatening injuries.
Paramedics, as well as QPS and Q-FES, are currently on scene.
The patient’s age and gender is not yet known.
