LATEST @ 11.50AM: A man is being treated for a gunshot wound as multiple emergency crews respond to an alleged mass shooting at an isolated Queensland property.

It’s understood four people in total have been injured in the alleged shooting, at a rural property in Collinsvale – about 80km west of Bowen.

The RACQ Rescue helicopter, police and ambulance crews were called to the incident around 9am this morning.

Police say they are “currently conducting emergency operations in the area”.

One man has been located some distance from the property and is currently being treated for a gunshot wound, reportedly to the stomach.

It’s not yet known if the alleged shooter has been found.

EARLIER @ 10.30AM: There’s been a reported shooting in a rural Queensland town near the Whitsunday Coast this morning.

Emergency Services, including the RACQ rescue helicopter, were called the town of Bogie, which is about 40km west of Bowen around 9am.

It’s understood four people have been injured in the alleged shooting.

There are reports the shooter is still at large.

Queensland Police and Ambulance Services are currently on scene.
