Child among three hospitalised in separate Southport incidents

Two separate crashes in Southport within the space of one minute have hospitalised three people, including a child.

A woman and a child were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Brooke Avenue this afternoon.

It happened at 1.41pm, with a female child sustaining neck pain and an adult woman being treated for minor injuries.

Meanwhile, just one minute later a woman was hit by a car along Walton Street – about a kilometre away.

All three have been transported to Gold Coast University Hospital, thankfully in stable conditions.
