Two pedestrians have been struck by cars in separate incidents on the Gold Coast.

One man was injured when he was hit by a vehicle on Snapper Rocks Road in Coolangatta this morning around 6.40am.

The man sustained injuries to his shoulder and was transported to Gold Coast University hospital in a stable condition.

Meanwhile earlier in Robina a man in his 30’s was also struck by a car.

Emergency Crews including Critical Care Paramedics were called to University Drive around 10.40pm last night.

The man suffered facial injuries and wounds to his back in the smash.

He was transported to Gold Coast University hospital in a stable condition.
