Australia, it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Big Brother is back with one big, local addition: 1029 Hot Tomato’s Big Trev!
That’s right, one of the Gold and Tweed Coast’s most lovable characters is heading back into the Big Brother house for the show’s 21st birthday celebration.
He’s not going in alone though, gosh no! He’ll be flanked by fellow Big Brother royalty to face off against a whole new breed of young, hungry housemates in what’s being dubbed ‘the ultimate showdown‘.
“I am quite excited,” Big Trev told 1029 Hot Tomato’s Galey, Emily Jade & Christo this morning.
“It’s like royalty, there’s three winners; me, Reg and Tim. Then they’ve got Tully, Drew, Estelle and Layla.
While Big Trev will know a few familiar faces, it’s the newbies that he’s a bit worried about.
“It’s quite funny, entering the house you see the new faces and you see the old faces,” Big Trev told 1029 Hot Tomato.
“And then, people looking at you going ‘oh god what does he do? he looks like he ate the other housemates!’
“But everybody that was in there knew who we were, because they all want to be on Big Brother and have been trying to do it for years.
“There’s a guy called Johnson on there, he’s been a Big Brother fan from day dot.
“And he knew exactly who everybody was, backgrounds and everything. He was amazing!
“Reggie will be a fan-favourite again. She’s amazing! I’ve known Reggie for quite some time.
“She’s beautiful, she is what she is, you get what you get. There’s no changing Reg,” Big Trev said.

The show will air on Channel 7 later this year, but we don’t know exactly when just yet.
