Four teenagers have been arrested after three people were stabbed in a terrifying home invasion in western Sydney overnight.

According to NSW Police, four people armed with knives broke into the Doonside home just before 2.30 this morning and attacked a 19-year-old man.

A 44-year-old man and 35-year-old woman, who were in the home at the time, were also injured as they came to his aid.

Emergency services were then called to the Cameron Street home and the trio were treated by paramedics before been taken to Westmead Hospital.

They all remain in a stable condition.

As police were carrying out investigations, officers were called to reports of a crash on nearby McCulloch Road.

A car involved was found abandoned and the dog squad was called in, helping to track down four teenage boys on nearby Love Street.

Thee 16-year-old’s and a 14-year-old were taken to Blacktown Police Station where they remain in custody.
