A motorcyclist is in a serious but stable condition in hospital this morning after a nasty crash on the Gold Coast overnight.
Paramedics, including critical care, were called to the corner of Gooding Drive and Robina Parkway around 5.00 am following reports of the crash.
They assessed the rider, a man in his 50s, for chest and leg injuries at the scene before taking him to hospital for further treatment.
He’s understood to be at the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
Paramedics were also called to a separate crash in Burleigh Heads around midnight.
Two people had to be assessed at the scene but luckily escaped serious injuries.
