A man has been charged after allegedly causing $80,000 worth of damage to a school in Logan last year.

Police allege the 20-year-old man entered the school grounds at Flagstone around 9.00pm on February 15, 2021.

Once inside, he is then accused of smashing around 200 classroom windows.

The clean-up of the damage caused “considerable disruption” to the school for several days.

Following investigations, police have now charged a 20-year-old Flagstone man with one count each of wilful damage and enter premises and commit an indictable offence.

He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on March 22.
