Elizabeth Hurley has posted a touching tribute to her former fiancée, Shane Warne, following the cricket legend’s shock death.

Hurley and Warne started dating in 2010 and the pair got engaged the following year before it was eventually called off in 2013.

Overnight, 56-year-old Hurley took to social media to share her grief at the news the legendary bowler has died from a suspected heart attack in Thailand.

“I feel like the sun has gone behind a cloud forever,” Hurley said while sharing a number of photos of the pair from their three-year relationship.

“RIP my beloved Lionheart.”

Meanwhile, it’s expected Warne’s body will be taken to the Thai mainland today for a post-mortem.

Thai police claim they were told by his friends that he had been experiencing chest pains before he died in his villa.

It’s believed he had been seeing the doctor about his heart problem and had also been battling with asthma.
