Some of Australia’s most talented musical acts are set to hit the stage at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre this weekend for Eurovision – Australia Decides.

Gold Coasters are encouraged to be a part of history and head along to watch the ticketed dress rehearsal shows on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, or the glittering live broadcast on Saturday night.

The two-day event will see eleven acts vie for a chance to represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy this May.

The 2022 contenders are duo Isaiah Firebrace and Evie Irie, girl group G-NAT!ON, Andrew Lambrou, Jaguar Jonze, Charley, Seann Miley Moore, metal quintet Voyager, Jude York, Sheldon Riley, PAULINI, and Erica Padilla.

All of the 2022 contenders will perform original songs at the three live shows, with the winner to be determined by a jury and public vote.

Hosted by comedian Joel Creasey and music buff Myf Warhurst, Eurovision – Australia Decides will also include performances from special guests including Norway’s KEiiNO and our 2021 Eurovision star, Montaigne.

Tickets for Eurovision – Australia Decides are still available here, with audience members encouraged to embrace the glitz and glam that is Eurovision, and wear their Eurovision inspired masks at the live shows!
