Queensland police have finally caught up with a hoon who was filmed doing a burnout right outside Southport Police Station.

The hooning took place in the early hours of Janaury 23 and was posted to the social media platform, TikTok.

The 25 year-old Molendinar man managed to elude Queensland Police for over 4 weeks, but has now been charged with four counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Acting Chief Superintendent Rhys Wildman said they won’t put up with this sort of behaviour.

“The footage is not only disturbing from the fact that it occurred right outside the Police Station but secondly just the manner of driving and obviously it was a pre planned event,” Acting Chief Superintendent Wildman said.

“All I can say is disgraceful from our particular point of view. From a member of the public it is also something that is reprehensible.”
