A woman has been arrested in southern New South Wales following the discovery of the body of an infant.
Police attended a home at Corowa on Wednesday night after concerns were raised for the welfare of a child.
Officers searched the home and located the body of a three-month-old baby wrapped in plastic in a freezer.
A 40-year-old woman was arrested at the house and taken to Albury Police Station.
She is currently assisting Police with inquiries.
A crime scene has been established at the home with forensic officers now going over the property.
