Queensland has recorded another 22,069 cases of coronavirus overnight and no new deaths.
Over 57,000 test results were received over the last 24 hours, from both PCR and RAT tests.
Of the new positive cases, 3,985 are understood to be positive Rapid Antigen Results.
Across Queensland, there are now 130,947 active infections.
535 people are being treated for Covid-19 in Queensland hospitals, which includes 30 people in intensive case and eight people on ventilators.
Queensland’s Chief Health Officer John Gerrard continues to urge unvaccinated people to get the jab.
“If you are unvaccinated you are nine times more likely to end up in hospital than if you have received boosted vaccination, that is three doses of vaccine,” Doctor Gerrard said in Wednesday morning’s Covid update.
Right now in Queensland, unvaccinated people are nine times more likely to get hospitalised compared to people who have received their third dose.

It comes as New South Wales announces fines for people who fail to report their positive Rapid Antigen Test results.
Queensland’s Health Minister Yvette D’Ath says the Sunshine State won’t be doing that.
For now, Queensland also won’t be mandating the booster jab saying enough people are still coming forward to get it.
